RIVER WEST LOFTS

This project was in a national historical landmark building originally built for the J.P. Smith Shoe Company.  The building is a historic example of the early use of steel and masonry in an exterior wall.  Heavy timber interior framing and exposed construction were preserved to create a loft environment suitable for commercial and residential tenants.  The project involved subdividing one large existing office space into six residential units on the second floor, and renovating four commercial units on the ground floor.

Studio Integra provided architectural drawings and consulting to the architect of record, BDS Architects, during design, documentation, and construction administration.
