This home, located in the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District, was expanded and renovated.  A new addition provided space for a new open plan kitchen/family area on the first floor, a basement level recreation room and a large master suite on the second floor.  A new ground-level entry foyer expands the space in the addition and connects the family area to the recreation room.  Approvals by the Oak Park Historic Preservation Commission were required as well as careful underpinning of the existing foundations to protect the existing structure.
