WHITESTONE RESIDENCE

This new 4,000 sf home is located on a lightly wooded site on Tabbs Creek off the Chesapeake Bay. The property has a private deep water slip.

Being a protected wetland area, all of the existing healthy trees were identified and preserved, and a 100 foot buffer was maintained between the new construction and the water.  The planning and orientation of the house allow most rooms of the house a view of the water and the owners' sailboat.

The home's structure is wood framing and truss joists with cement board panel siding and an architectural asphalt shingle roof.  Other features include a two-story living space, an open loft, and a see-thru fireplace.  The home's rural location perfectly accommodated off-grid well water supply and septic waste systems.
